Calazo Salla & UKK 1:50 000, 2022

Our newest national park is a hiker's cornucopia. The Sallatunturi area has a hundred-kilometer network of trails, and the villages have their own routes. In the summer, there is even more to hike! The UKK route runs through Salla from Hautajärvi towards Urho Kekkonen National Park. Several ring routes have been marked for mountain biking. The real natural gems are the Autsingi gorge valley, the Aholanvaara mountain ridges, Kaunisharju and the Rämiäjängä nature reserve. Kayakers enjoy the roar of the Naruskajoki River.

We use laser scanning data in our maps, which allows us to obtain more accurate contour lines than before.
