Product description

Finally, the downhill performance of an XCD ski meets the stability and floatation of a skishoe. The newest member of OAC line, the XCD BC 160, sits directly between the XCD GT and the KAR in terms of performance and versatility. Designed around OAC familiar XCD platform, the BC 160 features a broader width, proportionally larger skin area, and stiffer camber profile. Add it all up, and you have OAC's most versatile touring ski yet.

An exceptionally versatile XCD ski is built for outings in the hills where variable snow conditions and terrain will be encountered. Ideal for larger XCD skiers, as well as those carrying a heavy pack.
  • OAC Braid box construction
  • Compression-resistant elastic foam core
  • Patented OAC Unicoat skibase*
  • ABS reinforcements in base tip and tail
  • Integrated high quality Mohair-mix skin
  • ALU/GF reinforcement at binding area
  • Steel edges

OAC EA 2.0 -bindings
Redesigned for 2021, OAC's new EA Universal Binding now comes in a lighter, higher-performing design, while still maintaining all of its original ease-of-use.
Featuring slimmer ratchet buckles, weight-saving straps, and a reen- gineered heel unit, the new EA Universal Binding is assembled enti- rely from parts made in the EU. Now, OAC's binding feels even lighter on your feet, and all without sacrificing any long-term durability. In addition, OAC have also incorporated more spring power into the binding, allowing for both better stability and greater edge control. Whether you enjoy the uphill workout, value the freedom of movement on the flats, or relish the thrill of the descent, OAC feel their redesigned EA Universal Binding has improvements that every Skinbased™ enthusiast will appreciate. OAC EA Universal Binding is designed to work with a wide selection of flexible-soled shoes, eliminating the need for a dedicated pair or ski boots. Built entirely in the EU from the highest quality materials, the EA Binding will perform even in the harshest environments. The thick flexplate and powerful hinge mechanism provide a solid ski feel and offer excellent lateral stability. Compatible with a large range of shoe sizes and styles, the EA Universal Binding is suitable for most adult size boots. The base unit features a spring mechanism which doubles as an adjustment lever, allowing for in-the-field size adjustments, even while wearing gloves!

Good skis for a closed adventure, sometimes you have to forget how to calculate the telemark when you're such a big boy :/

Well-functioning sliding snowshoes, slightly better sliding (and worse grip) than 147-149cm long ones. The bindings accumulate snow between the elastic piece and may come apart during skiing.

High-quality skis with which movement is a joy in a wide variety of environments. Sufficient carrying capacity even with larger ranges. I feel that these are the best value for money in their category. Five stars, no doubt.

Functional tools in closed-plan forested and hilly terrain. Good grip and load-bearing capacity. Great bindings. I recommend!

Easy-to-use and high-quality sliding snowshoes. They slide nicely and carry reasonably well. On hard surfaces, especially when descending, they wobble sideways somewhat. Compared to snowshoes, it's nice to go down, but compared to downhill skis, it's awkward to go down despite the steel covers. They keep comfortably in the highlands.

The best sliding snowshoe. There is enough grip and a slide that can be braked downhill.

Excellent skis. The second bandage was attached crookedly, but the change was excellent. Excellent service.

They work well for dense or hilly terrain. Difficult to handle on hard surfaces in terms of lateral movement. In dead ends, clearly worse than usual long hunts.
