I use this sleeping mat under my gore tex bivy bag. Hence the choice for the extra robust Dura series. This is my first experience with a air mat. I'm a side sleeper and the comfort is good. But I must say that I'm not yet entirely convinced about the isolation. Have used it now for a couple of nights at 0 to -6 degrees celsius. Some nights I woke up feeling cold on the under side of my body. Alsmost like cold spots with a hammock and not really fitting underquilt. I hoped/expected a more 'toasty' experience at these temperatures. So the jury is still out on that.
