Comfortable, quick-to-put-on and quite warm ankle boots for freezing weather. I wore these during a week of winter weather, where temperatures were between -12 and -22 degrees. Observations: - The shoes dry relatively quickly if moisture gets inside them with the snow - Thank God these don't have goretex to ruin the fight against moisture, so they don't feel like a rainforest around your feet - The shoes are too warm if your activity requires you to be indoors or in a vehicle for any length of time - I would argue that the frost values ​​stated by the manufacturer are optimistic, but the user must of course know what the words "limit" or "extreme" mean.. (e.g. extreme means barely surviving for a certain period of time, perhaps without permanent injuries..) - At least in my case the shoes started to feel a bit cool when in place at around -22 degrees, there was no problem with slow movement. I used merino wool double socks (boot socks and up combat), some thermal socks could provide more warmth. - I think it's worth taking half a size or one size larger than your general size for these shoes, so that you can fit a double sock in between if necessary and that there is also empty space inside the shoe. - It might be good if the shoe had a removable inner lining, but playing with socks is fine - The shoes are not particularly slippery on snow and ice, so that's a bonus - The shoes are quite light for their performance, so they don't feel significantly different from basic ankle boots. In summary, you could say that they are worth their price as long as they last and if the user's expectations are realistic. Previously, I have often had durability problems with lighter Salomon shoes, but Salomon honors the warranty.

Warm and high quality. Stiff at first but loosens up with use. 2/3 larger than the recommended size, good for thicker socks.

After using them for a whole winter, I can't recommend them enough. They don't make your feet sweat like crazy in sub-zero weather, and they don't freeze even in severe frosts. They are also great for hiking and the ski binding fits nicely into the shoe.

Warm shoes and keeps water out! Although I haven't really been able to use them properly in cold weather yet. The last of the shoe is nice and wide so it doesn't squeeze my fairly wide foot at all. A little stiff to walk in at first but you get used to it quickly!

Comfortable, very good-looking, and high-quality shoes. Still little use, so I don't know how durable the shoes are yet.
