Light, versatile synthetically insulated hoody works as a midlayer and standalone. Atom Series: Synthetic insulated midlayers. 
 
Steeped in the alpine, this versatile hoody has warmed climbers, hikers, backcountry skiers and downtown commuters. Worn as a midlayer or standalone, it performs across a range of conditions and output levels. Coreloft™ Compact insulation retains warmth even if wet and has loft retention that withstands years of packing and unpacking. The water resistant Tyono™ 20 face fabric is soft, breathable and durable, stretch side panels improve ventilation and freedom, and the insulated StormHood™ adds warmth.

The Atom Hoody was previously the Atom LT Hoody and is now updated with a revised fit.

Great winter cycling/ice climbing jacket from October to April. The hood is quite large, which goes under the helmet. The jacket has fleece on the sides, so if you don't need that ventilation due to sweating, you should look at the Nucleita FL or some other more "closed" jacket...

Really good jacket, had the previous generation for 12 years, but it wasn't as warm anymore. This new Gen has some pretty good upgrade, better fitting hoody, new outer shell seems a bit more wind resistant too. Should be good for another 12 years of abuse!
