The Devold® Nordsjø sweater is made from 100% pure Norwegian wool, making it insulate, wicking and breathable. Originally made for fishermen in the harsh climate of the Norwegian coast. With its distinctive chevron check pattern, it can be considered the original Norwegian sweater, recognisable around the world in many variations, including the version that L.L. A warm and good-looking basic sweater. It can tickle sensitive skin, but it softens a little with use and I use it even over short-sleeved shirts. It normally gets pilled from rubbing, like sweaters in general, but the piles can be brushed out with a lint comb and the shirt looks clean again. As a slouchy woman myself, this men's version fit well, I only took one size smaller than in women's clothes.

A really thick and durable-feeling sweater. I recommend a long sleeved undershirt to wear with this because even though it's a quality item, wool is wool and it stings a bit anyway.
