The Devold® Nansen sweater is a fundamental part of Devold’s history, named after the famous Norwegian explorer, Fridtjof Nansen, who completed the first crossing of Greenland in 1888, dressed in Devold. This updated version comes in six different and contemporary styles. The Nansen sweaters will perform in the toughest conditions, or make you stand out in the streets.

The Devold Nansen Sweater is a very high quality and very warm product. I like to wear it very much. It's not too scratchy for me either. It is just a real wool sweater. I also find it positive that it is made in Europe (Lithuania).

I'm 184, normal body. Size XL is loose enough. Warm shirt. I think L was too tight. No information on durability yet! The collar is quite loose so the wool doesn't itch too much.

Very warm, I use it on a sailboat and otherwise when the weather is cold, no need to wash even in sweaty conditions, but good for ventilation. The old same model lasted 3 years, now patched and still in use, this one hasn't been tried yet but feels the same.

I purchased it for my upcoming trip to Lapland. It remains to be seen how effective it is against the proper cold weather but so far, it is very warm. Slightly itchy but not as bad as I thought. Overall, a good buy.

The sweater I've been dreaming of for a long time, very warm, very well cut, I washed it with a wool cycle, with special wool detergent, it's softer, less rough! The best purchase on varuste so far with obviously the savotta products!
