Sometimes it's nice to have additional support in your search. I use the Petzli with the Ride. Installation was easy. Yes, I think it's good to be.

Takes the Petzl ride to a new level of comfort when front pointing.

I had hoped that it would be more universal across all Petzl axes and even other axes, but it only works on a few of Petzl’s recent releases.

Very practical accessory, perfectly adapted and maneuverable when it freezes.

The Trigrest is a very useful way to add a handle to the shaft of an ice axe. It is easily adjustable and works well when needed, such as when climbing up steep ice.

Excellent upgrade for Petzl Ride (doesn't come with a trigrest, like the Gully). Trivial to mount.

Bought to replace old trigrests on my Quarks. More smooth action than the originals.
