Ultra-lightweight with a highly tapered cut, the Mythic 400 is designed for alpine style missions where weight and pack size are crucial to success. Filled with 900FP goose down and covered with a lightweight Atmos™ ripstop fabric, it's a high-performance bag for those meticulously counting grams.
The Mythic range is all about slashing weight wherever possible. The Mythic 400 is an extremely lightweight, three season bag. At home in high mountains, it’s ideal for venturing out long Alpine routes, multi-day climbs, treks or bike packing adventures.
Weighing in at just 660g, it contains 400g of 900FP, goose down. The chevron style baffle design keeps the down in position, optimising core warmth and reducing the amount of fabric needed compared to traditional horizontal baffles. The outer is made from our own wind and water-resistant, Atmos™ fabric. At just 7D with a built-in ripstop, it’s both ultra-light and super tough. It has a narrow mummy shape to minimise bulk, lightweight zips and pullers, and comes with a lightweight, waterproof, roll top compression sack for protection from the elements and a small pack size while on the move.
The trapezoid boxwall baffle construction allows the down to fully loft, eliminates cold spots, and maximises warmth. It has an additional, adjustable baffle around the neck and an internal baffle along the length of the zip, both designed stop the heat from escaping. Hand-filled in the UK, all our down bags benefit from never having had their down compressed before use, maintaining the down’s loft and warmth.

Excellent sac de couchage, très agréable au toucher. J'ai déjà Mythic 600, ce qui est beaucoup plus volumineux. Ce sac de couchage est beaucoup plus compact.

Kertakaikkisen mainio pussi, joka on kevyt ja menee uskomattoman pieneen tilaan: varsinkin jos pakkaa sen kunnolliseen kompressiopussiin, jollaista ei tule mukana (pussin kanssa tulee iso säilytyspussi ja vedenpitävä kuivasäkki, jonka saa myös pieneksi). Jos huonoja puolia etsii, niin vetoketjullinen tasku tulee hieman huonosti leualle/kaulalle, joten puhelimen säilyttäminen siinä ei ole mukavaa.

Ensimmäisellä käyttökerralla vetoketju hajosi. Lähtee kohta maahantuojalle. Katsotaan saako sitä korjattua ja miten homma toimii.

Niin hyvä ettei sanotuksi saa, tästä laadusta kannatti maksaa. Aivan ykköspussi kolmelle vuodenajalle etenkin bikepacking hommiin missä tila kortilla

This Rab Mythic 400 is a really good sleeping bag. It kept me really warm in the middle of the Glens of Scotland. I couldn’t believe how light and warm the Mythic 400 could be, it can be packed away small in its small dry bag. There is one thing Rab could do really well in the small dry bag it comes with, this would be a small valve to release the excess air out of the small dry bag which would be a great device to have.

Superb weight/warmth ratio sleepingbag in my opinion. Looked for a bag that can be used at higher altitudes and also in spring/autumn and that is easy to carry on multiday hikes with full gear. Found all of that with this bag. Very pleasant liner fabric, shorter zipper hardly noticable and this far comfortably warm (although I’ve used an extra liner with below zero temperature). Looking forward to be allowed to use it outside of our country, in the mountains again! Btw, the bag was delivered perfectly by Varuste (not stuffed but packed loosly instead!)
