Special times.
We are living very special times at the moment. At first we would like to inform our dear customers, that we are having our shop serving you normally for the time being, but we are following strictly orders from the government and the health authorities.
At the point of writing this the Finnish Post, Matkahuolto and other courier services are working normally. If you order home delivery have in mind, that the delivery person has most probably advised to keep a slight distance and for example signatures are not required from the recipient on to the delivery notes.
We follow strict hygiene procedures at our shop: washing our hands, desinfecting, and trying to keep a proper distance to both our collegues and also to you, our valued customers. This is for our mutual safety. Every member of our staff, who have arrived from a destination abroad will be work from home for at least 14 days and we have very strict orders to stay at home in case any symptoms of cold/ flu etc.
We are following the situation and will update all information on our corona -site regarding opening hours and anything that might concern you guys: COVID-19, what's happening
Speaking of special times
As many of us are at home these days, it certainly frees time from commuting, taking kids to school, transfering ourselves to different hobbies. So why not make the best of this. It is adviset at least here in Finland, that everyone should take care of their well-being and if feeling well remember to do sports and enjoy the outdoors. Please remember not to join group activities and maintain a high level of hand sanitation when you come back home from the outsides ;)
So. What to do then, a few cool ideas:
Have lunch outside with the family. You really do not need to go far from home to have an hour or so mini adventure. You'll get fresh air and as we all know, everything tastes better outside. Wood burning stoves are a lot of fun, just remember to check any restrictions from your area as these are considered as open fire.
Any outdoor delicacies taste the best from your own dedicated outdoor plates and bowls:

As said, exercising outdoors is good for you, even if you are locked in for the time being. This is a time, when your furry friends are just happy to have you around. Take them for longer walks, take them to the wilderness for mini hikes.
Ruffwear makes fantastic harnesses. As you attach the leash on top pf the harness, the leash will mos probably stay out of your pet's paw pits.
The toamer leash is indeed a dog owner's hands free. You can tie the leash around you and have the doggo sniffing around while you can enjow free hands. If you need him/her on your side suddenly for any reason, there is a loop close to the dog, where to hold him/her close to you.

For inside- and outside exercise
The internet is full of training videos and probably your local gym has also launced good ideas to stay fit while at home. We have all sorts of equipment that you can use to create a proper inside- or outside gym.
Slacklines!
Slack lines are a lot of fun and a do good for your balance and overall fitness. Many of the kits include all that you need, but if you purchase only the slackline itself, be sure to have proper tree huggers to protect the trees you attach the slacklines to.
Planking is the best
Plankpad combines a fitness device with games and workouts on your smartphone or tablet. It is the perfect solution if you want to train your whole body. Planking is one of the most effective workouts. It will get you in shape, make you lose fat and gain muscles, even prevent backpain and can also relieve it.
