The Oregon 750 handheld provides comprehensive navigation and tracking to guide you on and off the beaten path, using GPS and GLONASS plus ABC (altimeter, barometer and compass) sensor capabilities. The built-in altimeter provides elevation data to accurately monitor ascent and descent, while the barometer can be used to predict weather changes by showing short-term trends in air pressure. The 3-axis electronic compass keeps your bearing, whether you’re moving or not. There’s also a TracBack® feature on Oregon 750 to help you navigate back to your starting point the same way you came. You can also mark locations, such as your campsite, vehicle or other points of interest, to which you'd like return navigation.

Take charge of your next adventure with BaseCamp™, software that lets you view and organise maps, waypoints, routes and tracks. This free trip-planning software even allows you to create Garmin Adventures that you can share with friends, family or fellow explorers online. BaseCamp displays on your computer screen any topographic map data stored on the device, including contour lines and elevation profiles. It also can transfer an almost unlimited amount of satellite images to your device from the included BirdsEye Satellite Imagery subscription.

— Показать оригиналЯ купил это, чтобы заменить мои предыдущие 60-е серии Garmin geps, которые начинали с застрявших уловок. В моем основном использовании, при дрессировке собак, самым важным является максимально возможная воспроизводимость треков, и именно здесь это работает так же хорошо, как и мое превосходное устройство 60-й серии. Я не люблю геокешинг, поэтому связанные с ним функции мне бесполезны.
Хуже всего в аппарате - совсем неудачное время автономной работы. Хотя я всегда стараюсь зарядить его непосредственно перед тем, как уехать по бездорожью, уже через пару часов уровень бронирования упал до низкого уровня. В дальних поездках я не решаюсь держать ее постоянно включенной, но включаю ее только тогда, когда чувствую, что она мне нужна, и вообще не использую камеру. Запасные батареи должны быть всегда под рукой.
Благодаря Bluetooth устройство сопрягается с Garmin Connect, но для Basecamp и Express, похоже, требуется USB-накопитель, они не работают по BT или через Wi-Fi. На самом деле, я не понял, где этот Wi-Fi вообще можно использовать здесь (Wi-Fi работает сам по себе, то есть находит сеть, но эти собственные программы Garmin только мрачны через вентилятор ??)
В итоге: устройство, которое в противном случае было бы просто отличным, но плохое время автономной работы делает его досадно плохим. Слишком много функций за счет надежной работы. Камера бесполезна, тем более что при ее использовании расходуется еще больше батарей, поэтому сейчас я бы сам купил более дешевую модель без камеры.| Общий рейтинг |
