Don’t forget your furry friend
I must admit that I’m not one of those you would catch putting clothes on their dogs. My dogs don’t go to a day spa, manicure, pedicure, stone massages, or dog yoga either.
My and my friend’s dogs in their cool Ruffwear life jackets. You must choose if you take one good photo of one dog or try to get everyone in one photo and hope for the best. Well, the outcome isn’t great, it is blurred. But all the animals are calm in the same picture, so I guess it’s acceptable.
There is one thing they are cosseted with: good outdoor equipment. I guess I reflect my own values on my furry friends, but because I have bought the best equipment for myself, I want my dogs to experience the same joy, too.
This can easily be called advertising, but does it matter? Personally, I’m in LOVE with Ruffwear’s high-quality products. The final thing that has made me understand the greatness of Ruffwear’s patterns and fabrication quality is their life jackets. We go boating a lot and have had many dog lifejackets from different brands, which has helped me realise how important it is that life jackets sit well.
Ruffwear's life jackets have been the first ones in which the dogs feel free to do what they do, without the jackets bothering them. From the human point of view, the fasteners, the easiness of putting them on and taking them off, as well as the _optimally positioned_ handles are enough to convince me and to speak for this product.
It's summer, and a lifejacket may be the first thing on your shopping list. I still recommend you get to know also other Ruffwear products because they will help you a lot when you go outdoors with your dog. In addition to life jackets, I have bought also backpacks and hiking boots for my dogs (boots with Vibram outsole, naturally, for icy/rocky terrain).

On longer hikes, our dogs carry their own food. It may require more or less practice, depending on the dog, but they usually get used to their own backpacks pretty fast. You can start practicing with an empty backpack on normal walks and then, little by little, add something light inside.
