The Adamello GTX walking boot is part of Meindl's Comfort Fit range. Wider in the forefoot giving more room for the toes, it has a firm, shaped hold at the heel for a secure fit. The boot features a GORE-TEX membrane, which means the boot is guaranteed waterproof. This wider fitting hill walking boot is designed for those seeking the performance and specification of Meindl's best-selling Bhutan and Borneo boots but with a wider fit. It also has a high-specification Comfort Fit cork footbed, which gives great stability but can be removed to accomodate a customised orthotic.
The sole units are stiffer than an A/B grade boot and they provide more stability and underfoot support. Suitable for demanding walks in the Lake District, North Wales and Scotland, as well as lower level paths in the Alps or Pyrenees during the summer.

— Arată originalulConfortabil imediat scos din cutie. Având picioare foarte largi, cumpăr în mod normal o jumătate de mărime mai mare pentru a obține o lățime suficientă, dar cutia de degete puțin mai lată a Adamello înseamnă că aceeași dimensiune mai mare permite un șosetă de mers mai gros. Talpa nu este prea rigidă și oferă aderență și tracțiune excelente. Talpa este destul de construită, ceea ce face ca lungimea pantofului să pară mai scurtă, dar oferă un pas confortabil și mergi puțin mai înalt în aceștia. Mi-a plăcut să freci primul strat de ceară înainte de a te aventura afară!
