Benchmade Freek

Elämäni eka kunnon taittoveitsi. Tottunut oikeaan puukkoon niin muut taittoveitset tuntui pikkuriikkisiltä kaupassa ja tämä oli ainoa mikä tuntui fiksulta. Mutta käytössä tajusi mistä kyse, taittoveitsen tulee olla pienehkö ja näppärä, ei näillä metsässä pärjää millään ja nämä on enemmänkin pikkujuttuihin arjessa. Siksi vaihdoin tän Orborneen normiarkeen ja metsään oikea ouukko aina mukaan.

Big, sturdy knife, but still small enough to put in your pocket. Thanks to the M4 steel it's built like a tank yet thin enough to be slicey.

expensive knife, much heavier than the bugout but extremely strong steel. I prefer the bugout over this knife for weight savings.

This might be my favorite Benchmade knife. It is big, sturdy and just badass. The two-color G10 has a great finish and the red inside looks great with the red anodized hardware. The action is great and the thumbstude are placed a bit more away from the handle, which makes this knife easier to manipulate with one hand then many other Benchmade knives. For it's size, the weight is very manageable. This is one of the most hard-use suitable Benchmade knives. It is not cheap, but I expect this knife to be indestructable. You would be able to hand this over to your children and they in turn can probably hand it over to their grandchildren. If you can't choose which Benchmade to buy, but you are looking for a reliable knife that you can use hard day in day out, this is the one to pick.
