The H1 10mm Hood features a 10mm double layered protection in critical heat loss areas and glideskin seals for the neck and face. Waterproof H1 10mm includes the unique HAVS (Hood Air Venting System) which uses one-way valves to vent annoying air buildup in the hood.
During our numerous Polar trips with Waterproof Expeditions we learned that divers underestimate the heat loss under extreme conditions. We may understand we probably need a thicker undersuit, but when it comes down to the accessories, like gloves and hoods, the options are less. Also new technology ables divers to make longer dives and with this the Hypothermia factor enters the equation. It is common that Tech Divers using Rebreathers adds on an extra hood to prevent heat loss during long and deep exposures.
Waterproof looked into this and created a series of accessories we tagged as ” Polar Evoluted”, the H1 5/10mm HAVS is one of them.

Na wat uitzoeken dit product gekozen. Na wat zoeken uitgekomen op Varuste vanwege de prijs. Via GLS binnen een week naar Nederland. Super tevreden met de webshop en het product. Al enkele keren mee gedoken bij 6 graden.

Ich tauche seit 30 Jahren und habe viele Kopfhauben probiert: Die von Waterproof haben die beste Passform, halten auch beim Eistauchen warm und sind von bester Qualität!!
Lämmin. Kauluksen alaosa voisi olla hieman leveämpi (vrt. ursuitin huppu) niin istuisi paremmin esimerkiksi Ursuitin lämpökauluksen alle.

Lämmin ja tuntuu ettei vettä edes olisi hupun sisässä, nopeasti lämpenee eikä vaihdu dyykin aikana . Kaulus vois olla hieman lyhyempi, sen kanssa taiteilua että saa hyvin istumaan puvun kanssa. Toisaalta samalla estää turhan veden valumisen niskaan

Äärimmäisen lämmin ja mukava huppu äärimmäisen kylmiin vesiin. Tämän kanssa ei päätä palele :D

Erittäin lämmin ja istuva huppu. 90 min 4 asteen vedessä sujui hyvin. Aavistuksen pinnalla kireä huppu on vedessä juuri sopiva, koska vesi ei vaihdu hupun sisällä juuri ollenkaan. Huppu istuu hyvin Ursuitin softduran lämpökauluksen alle.
