Primus SkiWax Set

The gas-operated SkiWax Set is an “unplugged waxing solution” that can be used on a parking lot of a ski lift, in the backcountry on a multi-day tour and, of course, in your workshop at home. The simple, yet effective device consists of a corrugated waxing unit (made of cast aluminium to melt the wax and smoothly spread it across the ski base) and the burner.

Primus’ SkiWax Set has a built-in thermometer and the step-less temperature control, allowing the adjustment of heat to different waxes and prevent overheating of the base. In very cold conditions the SkiWax Set can be held upside down, using gas in its liquid form. Thanks to an integrated piezo-igniter, the unit is ready to use in seconds – no matches needed. It runs on Primus Power Gas cartridges and all similar cartridges. For transport, the waxing iron can be detached and stored in the backpack.
