Great shoe

Bought them for my girlfriend—her second pair. She loves them. We’ve had some occasional issues with the Velcro coming undone. She’s a US 6 in the Drones and usually wears EU 37–38 in street shoes, and they fit perfectly.

The Mad Rock CS Drones HV are easily one of the best second pairs of climbing shoes I’ve owned. They’re not completely pain-free— there’s definitely a mild performance snugness — but that’s expected with a more aggressive shoe, and it pays off. On overhangs especially, they feel incredible. The heel hook is extremely secure and confidence-inspiring, and the toe hook rubber does its job well when you need it. They fit my wider feet better than most performance shoes, hugging like a sock while still giving that precise, locked-in feel. If you’re a wide-foot climber looking for something that excels on steep terrain, these are a strong option.

Bought this as a compliment to my Drone 2s for indoor use primarily. I find these comfortable from the get go (sized up a half size from the Drones as recommended, if i kept my street size i don't think i'd been able to get my feet in) and man, the sole rubber is proper sticky. I appreciate the lighter colorway too.

Koko on pienempi kuin normaali kengän koko. Pienempi kuin drone 2.0 hv

Vihdoinkin löysin kiipeilykengän joka on tarpeeksi kapea! Napakka ja istuva kantapää, ja aggressiivinen kenkä. Ollut käytössä vasta kuukauden, en osaa sanoa miten venyy.

Shoes seem amazing, but they run VERY small, and so i had to return the first pair i bought in 41 (im a 42-43 street shoe size) and order 42, just got them and even the 42’s wont go past my heel, and are unwearable

Erittäin toimivat semiagressiiviset kengät pääosin sisälle. Kengän kumi on ERITTÄIN pehmeää joten kuluu terävillä jaliksilla nopeasti, toimii kuitenkin slouppaavilla otteilla ihan naurettavan hyvin. Kitka on valtava

A little bit softer rubber than the drones 2, but still a stiff midsole. Very nice for indoor climbing. Sizes are similar to Drones 1.

Great shoe and extremely sticky (and soft rubber) really excel on smearing and overhanging terrain, not the best eadging shoe (a sensation of rubber roll on small holds) for which the Drone 2.0 is better suited. My sizing: Drone CS 40, Drone 2.0 39, 5.10 Hiangle 40 2/3, Evolve (new) Shaman's 41.Update, after over 5 months of use. The shoes are getting worn although used around 4 times a week, the longest any shoe have held for me. After getting used with this soft rubber I had to upgrade from 4 to 5 stars. This is a great shoe for almost anything. Definitely a five star product.
