Kokemusta vuosikymmenien ajalta Garmin tuotteista. Garmin on helppokäyttöinen ja varma työkalu vaelluksilla, metsäretkillä ja työssä. Garmin GPSMAP 67 tarjoaa ominaisuuksia niin paljon, etten keksi, mitä puuttuu. Akun kesto riittävä normivaelluksille ilman virtapankkia.

Hankin tämän gepsin ensisijaisesti vaellus- ja geokätkentäkäyttöön. Halusin kestävän akun ja mieluummin ei-kosketusnäytöllisen mallin, ettei se naarmuuntuisi likaisista sormistani. Kovaa maastokäyttöä siis. Ne toiveet tulevat täytetyksi. Tiputin kaksi tähteä käytettävyyspuutteiden vuoksi. Nappulavalikot ovat sekavat ja kesti kauan oppia löytämään haluamansa. Katkötietojen lataaminen tien päällä on vähän niin ja näin. Laite ei anna virheilmoitusta jos lataus ei onnistu. Se vain on lataavinaan jotain ja lakkaa sitten. Arvailuksi menee. Tietokoneelle ja mobiililaitteisiin asennettavissa apuohjelmissa vielä suurempia epämääräisyyksiä. Oikut joutuu niissäkin opettelemaan ja kiertämään ongelmapaikat. Sen ei kuuluisin kuitenkaan olla käyttäjän tehtävä, vaan opastus kuuluisi ohjelmistolle. Kun kätkötiedot viimein saa ladatuksi laitteeseen, niin navigointi sujuu ongelmitta. En siis varsinaisesti kadu ostostani. Olisin vain odottanut laadukkaampaa toteutusta, kun kyseessä ei pitäisi hintansa puolesta enää mikään halpislaite olla.
