Excellent boot, excellent service!

Best Skiboot I own (I own 4 pairs) I used it now on a 8 day snow hike, with around 80km of hiking and quite some uphill and downhill. No blisters, no pain points, I could even add insoles. It is stiff enough for proper heavy deep snow decents, it fits me like a glove, it has super walkmode, it is super light weight and very easy to get in and out and the inshoe is removable within seconds. Best Touring boot that is actually useful for ski hiking in Nordics. If you spend multiple days in snow (tent), be prepared to insulate your feet below -10°C, standing in snow -15°C was the comfort limit for my case.

I bought the F1 LT for one reason: to crush vertical. After a season of high-mileage days, here is the reality of living with a sub-1kg boot. 1. The Uphill: Effortless This is why this boot exists. At roughly 990g, it feels like a hiking boot. The Stride: The 72° range of motion is practically frictionless. You don't "walk" in these; you glide. I’ve done 2,000m+ days and my legs felt surprisingly fresh at the top. Transitions: The transition is fast. One lever throw and you are locked. 2. The Downhill: Stiff but "Pingy" The Carbon Grilamid shell is fascinating. The Stiffness: It is surprisingly stiff for the weight. You can trust it on steep entries. The Feel: There is zero dampening. It feels like an "on/off" switch. Because it’s so rigid, you feel every vibration in the snow. You have to ski with precision; if you get in the backseat, the boot won't save you. 3. The BOA System I have a love/hate relationship with the lower BOA dial. The Good: It wraps the foot evenly without pressure points. The Bad: I’m always slightly paranoid about snagging the cable on a rock during a scramble, though it hasn't broken yet. Buy it if: You are chasing fitness, doing massive traverses, or want the lightest setup possible without going full spandex-racer. Be warned: It’s cold (paper-thin liner) and unforgiving in choppy snow. This is a tool for going fast, not for comfort.

Great boots for fast and light ski mountaineering. Stiffer than my previous light boot (Atomic Backland 2018), and lighter!

Yllättävän jämäkkä mono näin kevyeksi. Todella mukava jalkaan. Välppääminen skinnausmoodista laskuasentoon monivaiheinen, mutta helppo. Kestävyydestä en osaa vielä sanoa, toivottavasti sekin viiden tähden arvoinen.
