Great shoes, perfect for indoor climbs

Was using Instinct VS so ordering for size online was straightforward enough as the fit is the same. Got a size 41 for my usual street shoe size being 42. Using this for indoor bouldering and climbing. Decided to try VSR for the softer rubber and can feel the difference. The edging support didn’t degrade as much as I thought which is great smaller, sharper foot holds. In fact, this actually work out well for those tiny knob-like hold, with the softer rubber ‘wrapping’ the knob and still with good support. Overall fit (top wrap, heel) is good, not expecting any different from Instinct VS. Good, solid top toe patch, not the most extensive but this allows for a good fit. Heel is, as expected ok with no distinct heel cap / ridge like Madrock but it fits well for me with no dead space. The 2 pull tabs is a plus … esp during the painful break-in period. With the softer rubber, not expecting this to last as long as the Instinct VS, but hope it’s comparable.
