Klättermusen Gaiter Kit

The Gaiter Kit is an additional snow lock for a number of our pants. Their aim is to assist you in the most extreme conditions, helping you when you most need it. The purpose of the Gaiter Kit is to secure your lower leg, ankle and foot and offer extra protection from the unforgiving elements.

Thread the cord through the adjustment channel at the bottom of the pants and tie a water knot. Hide this in the channel so that it is protected from snow and ice. Then just bend the steel bar, or stirrup, below your shoe and attach it to the cord. Make sure that the open part of the hooks on the stirrup points backwards and that the wave-shaped hook is on the outside of the shoe. Remember, sustainability is going to play an increasing role in our lives and we're committed to preparing for that eventuality.
