Escalada en Rodellar is the definitive guidebook that covers the rock climbing and sports climbing in Rodellar and the surrounding areas. Situated at the end of Mascun valley, 10 minutes walk from the tiny village of Rodellar, is a spectacular gorge. This gorge provides a fantastic sports climbing area with its overhanging caves, arches, pinnacles and slabs. Many of the routes are steep and are graded at F6c and above. Also covered is the area of Andrebot where there are many multi-pitch routes.
At the start of each area is a good location map, and for each sector there is information regarding style of climbing, orientation of the cliff, and bird restrictions if applicable. For the multi-pitch routes there is also an indication of how much in-situ gear there is. All of the single pitch routes are illustrated on full colour photo-topos, whilst the multi-pitch routes are shown on topo diagrams, with French grades used throughout.
Published in 2010 this guidebook is written in Spanish, French and English text throughout.
