The beautiful warm colour of the handle is achieved by the special thermal treatment of the wood, and the reindeer antler gives the knife a hint of Lappish mysticism.
The carbon steel blade is excellent for cutting wood shavings and can be easily resharpened to its original state. However, remember to take proper care of your carbon steel knife. Always dry the blade carefully after use and oil the blade with unsalted oil on a regular basis. This will ensure your knife will serve you loyally from one year to the next.
