Härkila Driven Hunt 2.0 GTX

The Driven Hunt GTX boots are an improved version of the Driven Hunt boots, and are among the warmest hunting boots in Härkilas range. They are made from a robust and hardwearing, but supple, high-quality leather, and their field-tested, waterproof GORE-TEX membrane is insulating, making them ideal for both stand hunting and driving, even at temperatures well below freezing. The tall shaft provides support and warmth, but also makes the boots suitable for use in deep snow and swampy areas. They are designed and manufactured in Europe, and Härkila stands behind their quality. As for all their footwear, Härkila offers a two-year warranty that covers you in the unlikely event of any material or manufacturing defect in the boots. Because of the insulation layer, you should purchase one size up from your usual size.

The Driven Hunt GTX boots weigh only around 930 g per boot, and are made from beautiful, genuine, full-grain leather from top to toe. They have an extra tall, 12”/30.5 cm shaft and a standard-width last. They also feature a waterproof GORE-TEX Duratherm Kelvin membrane with integral insulating layer, which makes the boots ideal for winter hunting. During manufacture, all boot membranes are tested in a waterbath, to ensure they are waterproof. Härkila then performs a 30-minute centrifuge test on a 5% sample of total boot production, as a further guarantee that the membrane is of the highest possible quality. The boots have semi-stiff Vibram® Aftersky Ice Trek soles, specially designed for grip on icy surfaces. The midsoles of the boots are shock-absorbing, for long-distance walking comfort. They are reinforced with an extra robust material at the toe and heel, where wear is typically the greatest. The boot’s stitching is also reinforced, and the fit has been improved.
