Built for long tours in the backcountry, the Dawn Patrol Hybrid Shell combines our protective BD.Dry™ laminated waterproof breathable solution with an air permeable softshell fabric in key placements, giving you the freedom to wear it on the uphill, and keep it on for the downhill shred.

Our backcountry shell engineered to provide protection from the storm while remaining breathable on the uphill skin, the Dawn Patrol Hybrid Shell features a breathable softshell fabric in key placements for thermal regulation, while the chest, shoulders and hood remain impenetrable thanks to our propriety BD.dry™ waterproof/breathable solution. All fabric is treated with GTT’s Empel PFC-Free finish, an environmentally friendly DWR that’s superior in durability and performance. Add 4-way stretch for mobility and this shell keeps you hustling on the skin track while sending it on the way down. An innovative, center front dual zipper features a built-in mesh panel for venting on the climb, and the perforated panel on the collar allows you to breath freely while protecting your face from the brisk air. The Dawn Patrol Hybrid comes with two harness-compatible chest pockets that hold skins, an internal media pocket and a ski-helmet compatible hood. Velcro cuffs are combined with a lightweight wrist gaiter for ultimate protection.

The Dawn Patrol Hybrid Pants are built for going deep in the backcountry. By utilizing our proprietary BD.dry™ waterproof/breathable solution on key areas that require protection, while featuring a breathable softshell fabric on crucial panels that are prone to overheating, the Dawn Patrol Hybrid Pant brings exactly what you need to a day of touring—uphill performance and freedom, downhill security for getting pitted. Side-zip vents add temperature regulation and two thigh pockets—one being a dedicated pocket for beacon storage—and a smaller upper right hip pocket allow you to stow backcountry essentials. An integrated RECCO reflector adds to the pants’ snow safety capabilities, while the instep patches guard against ski edges and crampon points. There is a stretch gaiter and the cuffs feature dual snap closures to accommodate both racing and touring boots. The integrated belt provides waist adjustment along with internal loops to allow for suspender compatibility.
