Sweet Pheasant is a modern variant of the legendary Pheasant Tail Nymph (PTN) originated by the famous English River Keeper Frank Sawyer back in the 1950's. This fly is as safe as a bet could be and possibly the most used nymph by European fishermen. The wing of CDC and the dubbing in the thorax give life and effective features to the fly and make it extremely vesatile, it can be both a nymph and an emerger. Bodies of pheasant tail represent a huge variety of nymphs.
