De Blue Ice Griffin 12 Universal is ontworpen voor klassiek bergbeklimmen en is compatibel met alle bergschoenen, met of zonder hielrand. Deze stijgijzer zorgt voor een veilige grip op harde sneeuw, waardoor het loopcomfort en de precisie bij elke stap worden verbeterd. Een opvallend kenmerk is het gebruiksvriendelijke verstelsysteem, dat met een schuifkraag voor extra veiligheid een veilige pasvorm biedt. De 3D-vormige rails aan de voor- en achterkant, gemaakt van 2 mm dik staal, verbeteren de tractie en stabiliteit op technisch terrein.
