Eerste indrukken na het testen en gebruiken van de weegschaal: Het werkelijke gewicht is heerlijk bijna precies zoals beloofd (onze unit woog 2615 gram in reisconditie). De nieuwe bevestigingshaken leken me erg handig. In dit geval kun je je voorstellen dat je de binnentent na een natte nacht apart kunt pakken. Ook het bedienen van de deur leek hiermee handig. De op één na makkelijkste, gebaseerd op mijn eigen ervaring (de makkelijkste deur heeft een magneet, maar het probleem is dat deze een vrij zwakke grip heeft in de wind). Lijkt van behoorlijk hoge kwaliteit te zijn, zonder duidelijke breukgevoelige plekken. Het stiksel is niet bepaald perfect, hopelijk heeft het geen doorslaggevende invloed bij harde wind. Opzetten bij harde wind zal waarschijnlijk een behoorlijke uitdaging zijn, vooral als je het alleen moet doen. Ik denk dat je eerst alle bogen in hun tunnels moet plaatsen en pas daarna in de hoekcups, die de koepel vormen. Volgens de instructies mag er tijdens het opzetten slechts één hoek aan de grond worden vastgezet voor de veiligheid. Nou ja, we gebruiken dit altijd met minstens twee personen, dus ik denk dat het wel te doen is. Het is belangrijk om te weten dat de buitendeur niet helemaal open kan zonder dat het in de binnentent regent. Laten we eens kijken hoe de zenuwen/kleding nat worden met deze ontwerpkeuze.
