Hybrid jacket with long arms and G-LOFT® Insulation and breathable back part
Outer material made of windproof softshell with ePTFE membrane GORE 3-layer softshell and WINDSTOPPER
Backside with uncoated PA fabric, stitched with 40 g of G-LOFT® Si insulating fleece
Helmet compatible hood, 2-way adjustable by cord & cord stopper
Shoulder area with reinforcement by Keprotec (aramid fibers -> Kevlar fabric)
Waterproof front zipper with underride and chin guard
Ventilation / penetration openings under the arm with splash-proof zipper in the side seam
Two large, insulated side pockets with water-resistant zipper
Preformed sleeves
Sleeves with elastic cuffs

Mooie uitstraling en gevoel. Zeer zacht voor de rug, niet voor zwaar gebruik. Ik heb een heuptas boven softshell gebruikt en deze was na enkele uren gebruik beschadigd. Officiële reactie uit Karinthië was "Softshell en fleece zijn ook geen probleem voor heupzakken, maar de Shelltex-stof is niet zo robuust!" wat dat ook betekent: 0. Ik heb deze schaal gekocht voor gebruik buitenshuis en als hij door een heuptas is beschadigd, kan ik me voorstellen wat er zal gebeuren als hij zou worden geïntroduceerd in de Australische bush :). Een pluim voor Varuste omdat ze me een voucher gaven, maar het laat een bittere indruk achter, omdat ik had verwacht dat iets dat door spec-troepen wordt gebruikt, een beetje duurzaam zou zijn. Alleen mijn 5c.
