— Origineel weergevenIk heb Teric voornamelijk gekocht als reismachine ter vervanging van de reeds verouderde Suunto D9. Ondanks zijn gelijkenis heeft Teric bewezen een volbloed Shearwater-teaman te zijn: naast standaard nitics ondersteunt hij trimix en zelfs reedy punching. Naast de metermodus is er ook een freediving-modus, die ik echter niet heb getest. De machine heeft een goed contrast en een zelfverlichtend kleurendisplay, dus zelfs in diepere dekken is het niet nodig om het display te proppen of te laten schijnen met een lamp.
Teric ondersteunt twee druksensoren. Dan moet u echter overwegen om sensoren in verschillende kleuren aan te schaffen (verschillende transmissie-intervallen). Shearwater biedt geen zuurstofzuivere sensor, maar de zuurstofzuivere sensor van Aqua Lung is bijvoorbeeld compatibel met Shearwater. Op deze manier krijgt u zowel de basisgas- als de decogasdruk in de machine of, respectievelijk, in de breuk, zowel de zuurstof- als de Dilu-druk.
De Teric heeft een batterij en wordt geleverd met een micro-USB plug-in oplaadstation. Mijn korte begrip van de aanklacht is zeer positief.
Als geheel is de machine niet goedkoop, maar hij biedt ook een hoogwaardige horlogemaatschappij voor de behoeften van een gefokte duiker.| Algemene waardering |
