Improved version of our best-seller, the Kuuva 4 minimalist Hiking Boot. New ecological leather upper, improved SympaTex ® waterproofing, revised lacehooks and more durable laces. Feelmax NatuRun Sierra outsole with "lugs" for improved grip.The outsole is zero-drop, with 2,5mm thickness, on "lugs" the thickness is 4mm. Higher design. Very comfortable and light.
Note! Manufacturer's instructions for use:
Feelmax do not recommend lacing the boots tightly, especially in the front-foot are there are superficial veins and tight lacing hinders the blood circulation. Feelmax have used self-locking eyelets in the lower part of Kuuva 5 (these are closed loops). The idea is to adjust fit to the boot only once. Continuous adjusting of the laces will abrase and cut them fast.
The waterproofing can be improved by applying beeswax (the leather and textile used in Kuuva will soak water without any protection). The best results will be achieved when several coats are applied, paying attention to cover the seams well. Please apply the product to the new boots before using them,
for best results remove shoe laces. The wax will close the pores of the leather, affecting slightly to the breathability of the boots. Feelmax has used ”crazy horse”-leather for vintage look. This type of leather may have scuffs or scratches, and this is totally normal.
The insole is removeable to facilitate the drying. If it moves during a movement, please add few stripes of thin double sided tape to the underside of the insole. You shouldn´t use the boots without insoles, there is a seam in the inner boot which might get destroyed by direct contact of the foot causing leaks.

Muuten oikein hyvät kengät, mutta nauhat kuluivat poikki hyvin nopeasti.

Viikon verran olleet nyt käytössä. Istuu ihanasti leveään jalkaan. Märällä nurmella pitivät varpaat kuivina, saas nähdä pitävätkö loskakelissäkin. Ikäväkseni kyllä toisesta kengästä meni jo nauha rikki!

Toisen patikointi kerran jälkeen molempien kenkien pohjalliset kuoriutuivat rikki sekä lisäksi toisen kengän nauhojen lenkki irtosi kengästä. Tämän hintaluokan menopeleiksi laatu siis alaarvoinen. N. 40km pystyi patikoimaan ennen hajoamisia. Mukavat jalassa niin kauan kun kestivät.

Aivan mahtavat kengät. Ongelmajalkaisena on ollut tosi vaikeata löytää vaelluskenkä joka ei kipeytä varpaita ja vaivasenluuta. Näillä kävin kahden päivän patikoinnin 15kg rinkan kanssa, enkä muista koska ei olisi särkenyt jalkoja tai heti leiriin päästyä olisi kengät pitänyt heti riisua. Melkein unohdin että oli kengät jalassa 🤩

Företaget: Snabb leverans, topp! Kängorna: Perfekta. Sköna, bra känsla mot marken. Jag har precis börjat använda dem. Fungerar bra i stenig/block terräng. Ska jag kommentera någon nackdel är de något knepiga att snöra, men det är de flesta kängor till viss del.

Ihanat jalassa kuivalla kelillä. Kuitenkin molemmat kengät päästivät märässä mustikkavarvikossa kävellessä iltin juuresta vettä todella herkästi, sukkani olivat märät jo muutaman minuutin jälkeen eli eivät ole sellaiset waterproofit kun ymmärsin.

Mukavantuntuiset kengät hajosivat liimauksistaan reilussa kuukaudessa. Sääli, koska muuten vaikuttivat toimivilta ja jalkaan sopivilta. Jalkojen kastuminen kuitenkin paljasti karun totuuden.

Erittäin mukava kenkä, ei tarvittu sisäänajoja tms. Harmi vaan, että vedenpitävyys oli liki nolla - kosteassa metsässä vesi tuli läpi alle tunnissa ja kenkien kuivuminen vei kolme päivää :/

Kengät ovat sopivat ja mahtuu pakkasilla vielä villasukka alle. Oma jalka n. 26.1cm ja otin 42 kokoiset jotta villasukat mahtuu ja osui koko hyvin, eikä klonksua jalassa vaikka ei olisi paksuja sukkka alla. Pitää vettä, metsässä ovat tukevat.
