Lightning is an extremely lightweight roll-top backpack for fast-and-light multi-night adventures, offering outstanding comfort, freedom of movement and load-bearing stability. It has thru-hiking DNA with the carrying capacity of an internal frame pack.
Its top-loading roll closure maximizes weatherproofing and allows expansion of the main compartment to accommodate extra gear when needed.
Zig-zag side compression straps and an over-the-top strap with Rapide Hook secure the load to the frame. Lightning employs a remarkably lightweight suspension system, the backbone of which is a stout, single aluminum stay that is secured to the lumbar pad for direct weight transfer to the users hips. The padded shoulder yoke, with sternum strap, slides along the the stay, allowing a wide range of vertical, micro-adjustment to precisely match the wearers torso length while reducing contact points to a minimum.
Stretch pouches on each side hold water bottles, trekking poles or tent poles and zippered stretch pockets on each hip belt wing hold small items for quick access. A weather-resistant-zippered pocket at the top of the frame holds and gives access to a hydration reservoir. A mesh inner pocket keeps valuables secure.
A strong top haul loop and, a pair of ice axe loops and central daisy chain with attachment cords makes Lightning mountaineering capable. Available in women's and men's designs. 210 D, PU-coated ripstop nylon balances light weight, durability and weather resistance.

Lightweight, comfy to wear, easy to access and descent straps and suspension system like you would expect on bigger packs. For those that want lightweight but don't necessarily go ultra light without waistbelt etc but still want the pack to perform even if it's heavy. Very happy after several overnighter trips.

Hinta-laatu-paino suhde erinomainen ja helppo laittaa säädöt kohdillee. Välillä muoviosat narskuu, mutta ei liian häiritsevästi.

Säcken har funkat kanon. Min grabb på 12 har använt den både på vandringar och paddlingsturer. Bekväm att bära och enkel att packa.

Varsin asiallinen reppu, mutta vaatii suunnittelua kun pakkaa tavaroita. Mitään kovaa ei saa tulla selkää vasten, muuten se tuntuu läpi. Myös tavaroiden muukin muotoilu pakatessa pitää ottaa huomioon kun tästä haluaa hyvän kannattavan. Se kyllä onnistuu kun suunnittelee pakkaamisen kunnolla. Kantolaite ei ole ihan täydellinen, mutta keveän kantamuksen kanssa menee hienosti. Tähän pakkaa nollakelillä viikonlopun tavarat nätisti sisään telttoineen kaikkineen. Jopa koiran alustan olen saanut tungettua sisään, mutta helpommalla pääsee kun rullaa sen repun päälle. Hyvällä suunnittelulla tällä tekee kesällä viikon vaelluksen noin 10 kilon repulla. Sillä jalka nousee mukavasti.
