The EXO Heel System cradles your heel, reducing unnecessary friction for a comfortable fit.

Very comfortable, from the moment I wore them, so minimal break-in period. Feel tough and grip well on the trail. Wide enough in the toe also which is nice, as I found soe other shoes weren't as comfortable. It did take a bit to get the right size, I'm a 10.5 on a Brannock device and in leather boots (which usually run a little small), but after trying a few sizes a 12 was best for me in the Danner Trail. Big thanks to the Varuste team for helping me get the right size and the right shoes!
