This ski combines a Nordic BC ski, a telemark/touring ski and a snowshoe. A relatively short and wide ski is elastic and lightweight, due to the unique Braid box construction. The Braid box with the compression resistant elastic foam core gives the maximal strength and maximal flexibility to the ski. No matter what kind of snow you are skiing, the tip of the ski floats on top of the snow. At the very same time KAR  has good edge control, even in hard packed snow. The short and wide ski is super agile which allows you to have quick and easy turns even in the gnarliest bushes.

The KAR has an integrated skin, which is recessed to the base. Because of the skin's shape & the Swiss made Mix quality skin, the ski is competent even for freeride skiing at any slope you'll find. If you like bit smaller dose of adrenalin, you can slower the speed by leaning back and taking the ski of from the fall line. This makes BC access possible also for beginners and recreational skiers. By having the recessed, permanent skins you can forget grip wax problems and hassle with packing the skins. Skiing uphill with KAR is easy.
