Nitrile rubber has an excellent resistance to the following substances:
Benzine, Kerosine, Liquid gas, Animal Fat, Natural gas, Fish oils, Town gas, Vegetable fats and oils, Diesel oil, Glycols, Transformer oils, Glycerin, Lubricating oils, Ethyl alcohol, Lubricating grease, Detergents, Hydraulic oils, Waste water, Drilling oils.

Nitrile rubber has good resistance to the following substances:
Asphalt, Acetic acid, Lead tetraethyl, Fuel oil, Oxalic acid, Coal tar, Tall oil, Weak lye solutions, Wood tar, Diluted hydrochloric and sulphuric acids, Turpentine, Fatty acids, Sulphite waste liquor.

Nitrile rubber has poor resistance to the following subtances:
Aromatic solutions, i.e. benzene and its homologues, Plastic softeners, Phenol and its homologues, Ketone esters, Aniline dyes, Aldehydes, Nitric Acid, Chlorinated hydrocarbons, Concentrated hypochloric and sulphuric acids, Varnishes and thinners, Hydrochlorous acid, Strong bleaching agents.

Please note that a rise in temperature weakens the resistance of nitrile rubber to all chemicals.
