K2: Climbing The Savage Mountain

K2: The world's second tallest, and arguably most dangerous, mountain stands on the border between Pakistan and China. By the end of 2006, the mountain had been summited only 252 times, with a staggering 64 climbers losing their lives in the process. The Shared Summits Team set off to reach the summit by the East Face. After 5 attempts and three seperate routes they finally reached the top.
