Marttiini Finland 95 years anniversary knife, wooden gift box

The roots of the Suomi-Finland Knife lead back to more than a couple of decades. When Finland celebrated 80 years of its independence, Marttiini naturally celebrated this in 1997 by making a knife. In 2012 Finland celebrates 95 years of independence and of course Marttiini presents a new anniversary knife to honor it’s home country.

At the end of the handle is a lion cast in bronze and the knife carries the strong spirit of Finnish stamina by means of which our relentless forefathers secured the current welfare of our nation. The lion is an essential figure at Finland's coat of arms. The lion represents Finland and it's citizens: free, firm and steadfast.

Each knife is numbered and it is delivered in a beautiful wooden gift box that has a transparent lid for nice presentation.
