Petzl UniVerso Belay device is a Petzl Verso combined with a Petzl Attache 3D carabiner with a connection piece, which is held in an optimal position and runs really smoothly along the spine of the carabiner. There is no resistance at all, this ensures that any load is applied along the major axis and the rope can be locked off quickly and effectively. Also the connection piece reduces the chances of the Verso being dropped, particularly useful on multi pitch routes.
