With cutting edge Triangular Core Matrix construction and ThermaCapture technology, the XTherm NXT delivers a 7.3 R-value while weighing just 439 g (15.5 oz) in the Regular size. Put another way, the best warmth-to-weight ratio of any sleeping pad ever created. It is warmer, lighter and thicker than the previous model, which is why the XTherm NXT cements the legacy of being the go-to sleeping pad for alpinists, mountaineers and extreme cold expeditions. At 3-inches thick, with horizontal baffles, all-night comfort and support are at hand, while 70D nylon on the bottom ensures the XTherm NXT holds up to extended expedition use. The WingLock Valve allows for rapid inflation and deflation but is also intuitive and easy to use in frigid weather when the gloves are not coming off. If reliable overnight warmth is the demand no matter how far the mercury dips and space in the pack is at a premium, there’s no finer sleeping pad than the XTherm NXT. Mi piace anche la sua stabilità. Secondo me non è affatto lo stesso "castello gonfiabile" di ad esempio Tensor All-Season (anche se non il peggiore). Sono sorpreso che la borsa da imballaggio non sia più compatta e che non abbia una tasca integrata per la borsa con toppe. Allo stesso modo, la qualità del sacchetto di riempimento perde rispetto ai prodotti Nemo ed Expedi. — Mostra originaleDopo alcune notti di utilizzo, la piattaforma sembra davvero buona. Il materasso sembra più solido rispetto al vecchio Xlite dello stesso produttore, la sensazione è in qualche modo meno "simile a un castello gonfiabile". La larghezza extra aumenta anche notevolmente il comfort durante il sonno. I materiali sembrano resistenti e di alta qualità. Proprio all'inizio, il materasso sbatteva un po' quando si girava di lato, ma il rumore è già notevolmente diminuito in poche notti, e non lo vedo come un problema di alcun tipo.
Non c'è ancora esperienza con le temperature invernali, ma credo che l'isolamento sia abbastanza buono.
L'unico aspetto negativo è il sacchetto di riempimento, che non è molto ermetico. Sarebbe fantastico se funzionasse anche come borsa asciutta.Marca
