Brilliant product, love it! It appears complicated at first, but once you get the hang of all the loops, lines and buckles, it is very comfy and I absolutely use it all year around, canicross in the snowy forest or even simple walks in the summer if I'd like to keep my hands free. I have not yet worn it on bare skin, so I cannot comment on possible chafing, but if you can keep your shorts just long enough - you're completely fine. :))

A great help on regular runs with a big dog (Labrador retriever) that occasionally pulls in slippery weather: when the pull comes at hip level, it doesn't shake the person's balance in the same way as the pull coming to the leash in the hand. Feeling safer as an outdoor walker with a slippery one. Sure, happy encounters with other dogs are a bit more challenging; I personally prefer to remove the leash from the running belt with the quick release, so that I don't end up in the same knot with the dogs if they get the leashes in a knot in their excitement. And on an actual run, it's absolutely wonderful, when the pull comes evenly to the hips and lightens your own running. Your hands remain free, which is nice and also makes running easier.

Worked well. The pulling force is not on the back, but more on the hip area, because the braces that go under the legs keep the harness in place. It's great picking berries when your hands are free. I use this with an elastic strap.

This is my second harness and really this one is very comfortable, it cost me twice the first one I bought but I recommend it without hesitation it is really worth its price. Well, the phone pocket is a bit tight, we're not going to lie to each other. On the other hand, even the smallest is big for the small ones I am a woman and I do 38 everything is tight to the max, so on a 36 it may be fair. Otherwise, materials that look quality.

I have used the harness 3 times so far and like it. Like anything, there is some fine tuning that still needs to be made to get it to function properly so it sits properly on my hips and back. Saw this from a friend I met through Instagram who competes with her dog. I run almost daily with my dog and have normally just used a athletic fanny pac to help. The non-stop dogwear canix belt is awesome! does not rub between legs. if your dog is like mine and pulls-belt does not loosen around you-design makes it wear dog can only pull and the belt pulls from your waist. Very secure design with the technique to attach dog leash too- similar to design if you were rock climbing (screws in). Yhe only thing I would say is that I wish the pocket in the back was a zipper-do not feel super comfortable putting my phone in their without but over all 10/10 and would buy again!

Lots of straps and things going on with this belt, but the adjustability and comfort make it well worth figuring out. Really, it was packaged so there was no confusion or guessing, just had to lay it out flat and start customizing the fit. The material is high quality and the stitching is clean and strong, both things I would expect from Non-stop DogWear. The really impressive thing about this belt is how well the design redistributes my dog's pull force while running. Finally I am able to slow our pace without still feeling the pressure of the leash tension, and I feel much more in control. I highly recommend this belt if you have any need to protect your back, and if you have a dog that is a relentless puller. I do wish the belt pocket was bigger (or sealed with a zipper or velcro instead of a fold), but I can overlook that given how well this gear functions over all.

Took me a few moments to work out how to put it on, but although it looks quite complicated its actually very straightforward with one strap to do up and tighten the rest. Its really lightweight and comfortable. I have just started running with my dog and its perfect to keep her out of harms way from cyclists. Even when she really races ahead it doesnt feel like its pulling on my body in a bad way.
