The friction sole didn't convince, especially when you're used to Icebug's studs. I would have imagined the frictions to work well, like friction tires in a car. It feels like you can't trust them at all. Maybe I was expecting too much, but I got the feeling that these friction shoes hold just as well as regular winter shoes. The sole of the shoe is quite big. While driving the car, I had to find a suitable position and place for the shoes, so that I could press the pedals without fearing that the shoes would get stuck on the walls of the car's footwell.

Once again Icebug shoes amazed me. The Pace3 shoes are one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. The grip on a wet ground (roots, rocks) is great. In snow your feet will stay dry and warm. I recommend these shoes if you are looking for winter shoes for walking in snow and for an easy hiking.

Good shoes, no slipping in a couple of weeks of winter use. The soles are a little too densely textured, so they collect a lot of sanding on the go.

Very comfortable, stylish, warm boots. The price-quality ratio is also super. We took 2 sizes larger than regular shoes.

We bought a pair of Icebug pace3 with built-in studs last year and were so happy with them that we now bought a pair of Michelin soles. The shoes fit perfectly as autumn and winter shoes when there is no ice outside. They are light and very beautiful. None of us have received shoe chafing from the shoes, even though we went over 1 hour walk with them on first use.

The shoes felt pretty good on the foot right from the first try. Comfortable sturdy construction and very heat-resistant shoe. Although there are no studs in the shoe, there was also a reliable feel in terms of grip. My user experience is very short so far, because the winter season was just coming to an end at the time of purchase, but based on the quick impression, still full points.
