pretty good boots. could be even more robust and have a bigger eyelet at the back, which you could put more than one finger through, but it's good. most have either too few seams and a thin eyelet that will soon fall out of your hand, or none at all. it would be even nicer if Lowa also produced boots with a side zipper, then the back eyelet wouldn't be necessary. but otherwise it's soft, the sole is stiff enough. supports the ankles nicely, etc. this boot does what it's supposed to do.

Tested them in tough conditions. Great for thick woods and outdoor. Not so durable in hard surfaced environment (buildings, roads, rocks etc.). After 3 months of every day wearing goretex membrane lost its waterproofness. Also in some places the sole has started to glue off from boot.

Lowa z8s gtx is the most comfortable military shoes I’ve ever wear. The goratex membrane is working really good also the sole is soft but hard which makes this boots really good for military training

Light and good on the feet

Great product, though not as comfy as my zephyr low ancle shoes. And they are quite wide - at least for my foot

A friend who is currently in Ukraine recommended them to me, he has used Lowa boots during his years of service and he told me that it was a very good brand and now I see that it is true, I have loved my Z-8S GTX, the quality shines in every detail and material of the boots, I have no doubt that they will meet my expectations.

Excellent boots, very happy with them! Insole at first was a little too rough for me tho, took some time to get used to it.

Great fit and comfort. But the soles are extremely slippery on cold surfaces like packed snow. Slipping and sliding in all directions. Much worse grip than the Lowa Zephyr boots (I have gone through 4 pairs of Zephyr GTX so far). The Z-8S GTX C actually has the worst grip of all my boots and shoes, including a pair of standard Blundstone boots. Very disappointing. Have to wait until next fall to try the Z-8S on wet rock and moss, but honestly do not have high hopes. I’m deducting 2 stars from the rating due to the unacceptable grip. Would not consider these boots for service use, at least not in my part of the world (northern Scandinavia).

VERY COMFORTABLE SHOES ON THE FEET. REALLY GOOD AND FLEXIBLE, ROLLING SOLE, DOESN'T STRESS THE FEET. I USE THE SHOES FOR FORESTRY WORK. I HAVE USED MANY BRANDS OF SHOES. THESE LOWS ARE OUTSTANDING.

Still the best boots out there. Slightly heavier than the Zephyr but just as comfortable and possibly even sturdier. This is my fourth pair of Lowa and frankly, there is no other shoe or boot I'd rather wear. I use them for pretty much anything from walking around town to technical trails in the mountains and in all seasons; even in the harsh Canadian winters, they keep me comfortable in temperatures as low as -20.

Great product. Boots ar light, but durable. I have used them in wet snow conditions and they are keeping moisture out very well. Maybe lacing system could be better with hooks in upper part in situations when speed of putting your shoes on is essential. Other than that I can not imagine any downside. Shipping to LV was fast. Overall - I am very satisfied with product and service.

Sturdy and good to walk on. The strength is also sufficient for a heavy load. The length of the stem is also enough for most situations. Personally, I like the length of the shaft more than traditional hiking boots.

These boots are absolutely mad, hands down the best footwear I have ever worn. I spent a long time looking for a pair of boots for what I need, and I'm glad I found them here, fast delivery as well.

Have purchased a few items through veruste and been excellent every time. Lowa z8 are excellent. This is my third pair. Have had many boots over the years but since discovering the z8 I don't wear anything else.

Fits well and it's comfortable to walk like this while jogging the dog inside before hiking. 👍👍🌹🌹 The 2022 Lapland hiking trips served well and stayed dry and warm even when fishing.

The shoes are great on the foot, light and didn't need much "walk in". Now, almost 10 months later, the film failed in the rain, in the wet forest, and the tops of both toes were wet.

Good shoes. One star off because this way the sole does not hold in winter time, apparently the base material hardens in the cold. In addition, the top tape hole could have been open and not threaded. Now when opening the shoes the strap falls out of the hole and must be threaded again when the shoes are tied again. Hitting a hole is not always easy.

Excellent quality, true to fit and extremely comfortable boots.

I think the Z-8S is one of the older models so it doesn't have the fancy features some newer ones have. But it's build quite solid and fits nicely. Haven't tried on outdoors yet.

I don’t know, but these are nice to walk on and look heady.

As soon as you have the boots on your feet, you know you are dealing with quality.

I’ve used Rangers, Caminos and now Z8’s and the Z8’s are by far the best for stalking game in thick cover. They’re quiet and have good flexibility and range of movement while still retaining ankle support.

They sit right on their feet. It doesn't hurt to slip into a creek or puddle hiding under a hut. Nothing has come through after a couple of years of use. As a winter shoe itself and in other seasons as a hiking shoe, a thermal fork is enough. In daily use, laborious to tie. In winter not too slippery but still. Lowa's own conditioners change the color of the shoe a bit. And goretex doesn’t like insecticides. Otherwise, it seems to have the rest of the life boots in it.

Very good pops. Works very well when walking and in the woods. It can also be used very well for running if you fall "loose" and these can fit shoes inside the doors without hurting the soles of your feet, and you don't feel like doing somersaults anywhere. Along the rope, these can also be climbed thanks to the inner edge design. Washes my own I think very many shoes when I come. Also breathe better than I do myself.
