The system for the battery is great, because the batteries, rechargeable batteries and the lamp's own rechargeable battery all go in the same housing. The battery could use USB-C charging, but micro-USB also works.

Impressive headlight, three different lighting powers, of which I prefer medium power in almost everything I do. The luminous flux is really good at least with this setting. A rechargeable battery is an absolute plus, in addition to which AAA batteries can be used. Good lamp and hopefully long lasting.

I have bought two such headlamp, another member of the family and the other to oneself. The best thing about the lamp is its lightness and excellent light output in relation to its weight. The price of Varuste.net has also been the best in the country. Personally, I don’t like the lamp switch and operating logic. Pressing the same button toggles between white and red light and the power / red light flashing function. This works very warm when there are no gloves on the hand. In the winter, in the frost, thick lumps in your hand, finding a button and changing operating modes is numb and awkward. For example, the Petzl Ultra headlamp from previous years was very easy to use with the bumps in hand. The structure is light and, for example, when running, smoothness and lightness are a big plus. The lamp stays in the head and direction well. I think for the same reason the lamp is not mechanically very durable. I actually scattered two or three aimpien model for generations of small-Petzl headlamp. For shocks, for example, the plastic locking clip may break or round or the shell may crack. The headbands of the lamps lose their elasticity over the years. The battery lasts well enough and I consider a rechargeable battery to be a viable option. Now the battery must be removed from the lamp each time for USB charging. Personally, I think that charging the battery in place would be a better way. When the battery is continuously removed and reattached, the locking mechanism tends to wear out. In the corresponding Petzl ten years ago, it was this point that was broken with use. The switch on the second lamp I bought did not work in freezing temperatures of more than ten degrees, meaning the lamp could not be turned on, off, or switched modes. The new lamp replaced will work. The faulty lamp switch also felt numb. This is a very useful lamp for the neat basic user; the abuser of ronski batch equipment needs a more robust whole.

Purchased Black Friday 2020 for approx. 40 €. Small and neat, shines brighter than previous Petzl Tikka we have bought. The rechargeable battery works as intended, at least the 3 charge cycles we have used so far. Used for walks. I have not tested it for running, as there is no rubber against the forehead, so maybe a tight-fitting headband is needed for it to remain in the desired place. I like that it flashes 3 times, when the charge becomes too poor at maximum intensity, BEFORE it automatically decreases to the next lower light effect. No risk that it will come as a surprise :-) Definitely worth the price, if you are looking for a small but powerful headlamp.

I mapped out the options quite comprehensively and carefully before choosing, and I ended up with Petzl Actik Core. And I have not regretted my decision. Usability is good, and three different light powers provide suitable room for maneuver. Even with the most frugal setting, you can do well in a dark forest if you don't want to lose the atmosphere completely. And when more power is needed in places, there is a reserve. Pretty good rechargeable base light for the price / quality. For some reason, the quality impression is worse than it has been in the past. I myself have and have had several PEZLIN headlights to compare to. The putting on the button is spiky and deep, it is better to bottle a little outwards so it would be easier to put the gloves on in your hand.
