It's ok, but MSR's previous footprint model would have been better, because you could securely attach the tent poles to the corners and thus assembling the tent when dry would have been many times easier. But MSR apparently no longer manufactures the previous model, so it doesn't help to hunt for it.

It is easier to clean than the actual tent bottom and protects the tent bottom. The base of the Hubba nx is so thin that the footprint is sufficient.
In Footprint, you can get tent arches if necessary and an outer tent if you want, for example, protection from the rain without an inner tent. However, training in good weather was necessary for me.
Footprint can also be spread on the porch if you want to protect the sleeping pad.
The downside is that you have to buy it separately.

I’m using this footprint with the Hubba hubba NX tent, but the size is not quite perfect, it would’ve been nice if the footprint could be secured with the same pins as the tent.

Great for what it is but somewhat expensive when other items such as a lightweight tarp or the waterproof building papers used on building sites which a builder may give for free work just as well. I found I would stake this down first which stops any wind blowing it away and then erect the tent over it and pulling the stakes from the footprint and putting them through the tent and the footprint again to resecure the lot. Definitely works as intended in keeping tent bottom clean and extra protection from sharp items which you may have set up on.

Great product, fast delivery. Couldn't put 5 star because i didn't use the product yet

Works fine and seems durable. Shame it doesn't have grommets like the previous version so that you can put the fly up before the tent.

Tent lining. This is honestly pretty pointless. The former tent-specific version of MSR sounded much more reasonable. I use Hubba nx2, which used to have a base fabric that was attached to the tent itself. Got an outdoor tent set up without an inner tent. You can't do that with this. Unnecessary extra weight on hikes.
But if you have to spend the night in a sandy campsite, it's perfectly fine under a tent. It doesn't attach to the tent, so you just have to put the tent on top of it by feeling it.

Use still requires getting used to and confidence. Keeps the tent cleaner and after a little brainstorming I managed to dismantle the tent so that the inner tent was dismantled dry inside the footprint and the outer tent. I still can't set up the tent that way, I don't understand the most logical assembly arrangement. It's going to be a mess. Footprint is exactly the size of the tent, light and fits in the tent's transport bag. Collects moisture and puddles between the tent and the footprint when it rains. I'm not sure that the product would be worth the price, a handy person could make a better one for cheap.

It does its job, but on the other hand, I would hope that the size of the fabric would be enough to cover the bottom of the tent (MSR Hubba Hubba NX) so that it could be folded up and rainwater would not run between the ground fabric and the bottom fabric. However, this protects the tent from mechanical wear and tear. Can be attached to the inner tent "firmly" with the corner attachment loops.

The fabric of the Hubba Hubba NX tent is at least so thin that I thought it would be a good idea to buy a Footprint worth of peace of mind to prevent the valuable tent base from rotting. It was clever, you could put the tent directly in its own bag on top of the base, and the base was certainly much easier to clean from the dirt on the ground than the tent.

Probably doing business. There is a story on the Internet that an outdoor tent can be set up with a footprint using an indoor tent - applies to a different model of footprint that is not available at least now. There are no places for tent poles where you can stretch the poles, you have to make them yourself. However, run your case for extra protection.

Original Hubba Hubba footprint was better. Californian Proposition 65 Warning.

Size is correct but since it’s universal, difficult to match to the pegs for the main tent

There was a replacement Nordic Lofote's ulw 1 inner tent ulw 2
After all, the quality of the materials and work in these are top class. After all, this ulw 2 now has considerably more space.
Switching from ulw to 1-2 is a bit tedious, at least like this next try it brings a one star drop,
but ulw 2 still doesn’t become a two-person tent, yet one got extra space well. One thing, of course, is that
now there is no space in the hall, for example, for shoes, backpacks, etc. for others who now have to take their inner tent, but it's a matter of taste. Otherwise, I recommend this product.

The perfect accessory for my Mutha Hubba. Does not take up much space in the back pack and is lightweight as well. Thumbs up.

The footprint matches the tent it specifies well and it's easy to adjust and get snug under the tent. But in my opinion for the price that MSR sells the tents it should be included.

I preferred the old version that could be fit the size of tent exactly. It could be set up the tent with footprint at the same time. But the universal footprint cannot do that.

It was good idea to buy it. It will save your tent from damage and dirt from the ground. We also used it on the beach instead of blanket... It didn't fly around because we secure it with hooks... :-)

The concept of a separate tarp - that's essentially what it is - to protect the tent floor is good, but it is somewhat heavy, and an additional item to carry out and clean. On the upside, it does fit the Mutha Hubba very well.
