Very light and fast shoe. Water resistance also good. Withstand decent use in the terrain for about a year. Then they began to disintegrate from each seam.

Lightweight and comfortable to wear. It would be even better if you got a membrane, of course you breathe better without the membrane.

These boots remain the ultimate choice of lightweight tactical boots with DNA of the SpeedCross 4/5. The ankle cuff ensures no debris will fall between the inside of the shoe and the sock, yet it is not bulky. The speed lace system is flawless and iconic to Salomon and the pocket to tuck away the excess serves its purpose too. These boots are a steal at this price and it is a shame Salomon have stopped manufacturing them in favour of their newer models.

Damn light and comfortable. Although it is a warm weather shoe, it did well in winter, except there was no grip on the ice, but few people have it anyway. I think I'll buy others when the first ones are punctured.

The lightweight, rough sole pattern, slightly higher heel helps keep the sand out of the shoe better compared to shoes with a low sneaker model.

Good work shoes indoors. Holding outdoors in the winter is not the best

Excellent shoes, wore these in Mali for 19 months and had to get a pair to use at home. Fits kind of snug in the beginning especially if you have wide feet. However they break in after a while and mold to your feet. Excellent shoes for both office and field. Great shoes for warm feet.

The first feel to the shoes was excellent. A reasonably sturdy sole and good "pieces" in the soles brought a good feel to the trails. I use it both in the city and in the terrain. I wasn’t quite sure about the water resistance at first, but at least the socks didn’t get wet when I walked out of the pond on my first trip. I think the shoe could be the same with the Gore-tex membrane (therefore 4 stars). Compared to speedcrosses, the shoe has a wider toe cap and toes for more room to move. I recommend it to anyone who likes to spend time off-road!

I bought the same size as my maihar, Sits well on my leg and works just like a slipper should. A slightly narrower design than the boot swabs, you fit the fit is NOT EXACTLY the same. Damn good grip everywhere except on ice where it's super slippery. Insoles when switching to better ones here is a 5/5 sneaker.

Great shoes. Fits well on your own foot even though your own fin is a bit wide. I took the same size as my Quest in my shoes (44) even though I tried one size bigger at first. The grip is found and, although film-free, dries surprisingly quickly.

Toni v and others with experience of the xa forces model and this. does the same size go? and how the models in that you don't if xa forces fit then will this go. for me xa forces on my feet best and awesome if my foot wants more than barefood or both. i don't have them but for some reason it lasts. broke up with light use and the latter a bit unnecessarily fresh. went to the warranty. the durability of these is also of interest if you could comment. thank you.
