These shoes are my current favorites for barefoot shoes (almost all the shoes I wear are barefoot shoes). Nice boots for forests and paths. The only downside is the difficulty of pulling the shoes on the foot due to that neoprene arm, but it also effectively keeps debris out of the shoes. That is, walking is nice, but pulling on and undressing is less fun. I think it works best without socks.
