A really sturdy, compact backpack for longer trips. You can get a lot of big stuff on the outer straps. And indeed, waterproof.

Waterproof and fits all gear for an overnight trek & camp. Top and bottom are in a point, which requires thinking a bit how to efficiently utilize the space. Zipper may be difficult to close (solved with candle wax)

The best travel buddy. The previous one was the previous model, but this system that opens up is great when there is no need for jetboil and other debris to drip from the bottom blindly.

It is frankly an absurdly well-made and designed backpack. Easily the best choice for all kinds of camping, as long as you don't mind a slightly stiff zipper and a large undivided space. Not for the gram filer either.

This backpack can hold a surprisingly large amount of stuff and you can even attach a packraft to the top. A great backpack. Not one was weighed during the four-day hike.

I haven't used it in practice yet. However, it fits well on the back and the groove at the spine is great for those who have problems with vertebrae or discs.

A really durable backpack, and the stuff stays dry even if the backpack falls off the boat at speed. However, it is relatively laborious to open and close if the intention is to use it for something other than moving goods from one place to another over a longer period of time. The tightening doesn't work very well if the backpack is empty, but at least for now (almost a year) it has been tight enough that when you pack it as a vacuum, it keeps the contents absorbed against your back quite well.

Great bag everywhere. Side pockets are good for small stuff, but also main compartment should have one dividing system - e.g. to keep clean/warm and wet/dirty things separately from quickly accessible big compartment

Very high quality and spacious backpack. Taking goods is easy without unpacking the entire contents.

Excellent backpack for Finland, where unfortunately it isnt always dry. 100% waterproof and still very comfortable. It feels durable, i have used it for about a month now.

Ortlieb quality. General use too big. I recommend getting a smaller size unless you really need the largest size. At least in the red backpack, there were permanent traces of splashes after the bike ride on the slag, so the dark color for cycling is justified. In fact, I chose red to make my vision better in traffic. Back-to-back filling is quite impractical, especially if you’re going to shop from the store to pack along. For the trip, there is a sleeping bag and other light, but a lot of space, a good frost is included here and there are good pockets for the little spinner and everything is well accessible.

Nice to wear position, weight is distributed comfortably and feels light on the back. Suitable for carriers of different sizes, easy adjustments. On the downside, the very beginning of the puller felt really stiff, you can pull it properly to start opening, after the start it rolls better. The guy coming in the back can't take anything from the backpack, probably a good feature in the crowd or on a city trip when preventing thefts, but from the big compartment of the backpack the guy can't be conveniently handed out even with a drink bottle or snacks, the whole backpack should always be taken from the back.

Very satisfied with the quality. Strong material, the zipper is stiff. However, I have not had time to test water resistance.

Love love love these packs. Think of them as dry duffel bags with a great comfortable and adjustable harness, plenty of attachment points, a big storage compartment and a solid zipper. The bonus hydration system, helmet kit and attachment pack just add more usability and features. Some people have complained about the lack of inner organization compartments and while I can see how this is a problem for some, we pack with cubes and stuff/compression sacks which eliminates the issue for us. Haven't had a lot of time to use them, but a bike/hike over night tent trip and a three day paddle later we're sold. This bag we strapped down to the hull of our surfski and it performed wonders, even getting tossed in the lake accidentally on a missed "catch" reloading the boat on our last morning. On a real plus note everything stayed nice and dry and the harness dried out quickly.

Nice to pack and unfold the goods well displayed. The coolers adjusted to fit the back, good position. However, the owner with just a short back should probably settle before buying. Feeling good quality.

Really great backpack. I bought a bike ride to Spain for a cockpit to get the weight put on my back on the trails to lighten up and be included in the daypack anyway. Keeps water light, packs a lot and pockets inside are handy for everyday use. I was skeptical at first of how comfortable the zipper on the back would feel, but hasn’t bothered at all. 5/5 so far based on a few months of use and after 1300km of cycling.
