One of the best trail shoes right now suitable for rocky, technical terrain on paths in the woods or in the mountains for between distances. Good fit around the ankle and enough space in the toe box. The fitlock lacing works well. The shoes are consistently made of durable, durable and reliable materials such as kevlar / polyester blend on the top, rock plate in the midsole and butyl rubber in the outsole. Really good grip in dry and wet surfaces. The only thing I miss is that the shoe would be a little more cushioned to be able to be used for really long distances. Good job VJ!

Persuasive shoes - you can find all the advertised features in these. At first, the toe space of the new rough shoe even felt cramped, which I was sorry for, but with use, the shoe has become very comfortable - also in terms of the toe space. The size chosen based on the VJ Sarva Xero 5 pins I bought earlier turned out to be the right one. The running feel is good, the sharp rocks don’t feel through, but the shoe feels pleasantly minimalist with no extra pads. The grip is harsh, although the bottom feels clearly hardening as the temperature cools. On the flip side of the commendable grip, the base material is quite soft, and with an evenly lethal piece of asphalt, the pieces can be eaten surprisingly quickly (there is no need to worry about this on the path). Even after adjusting to the shape, the shoe feels as it should live up to its name, and can be seen to withstand a run-down without bumping. The single biggest negative feature, I think, is the alarm vehicle-like coloring. With time left for these, I can imagine without hesitation ordering new ones. Unless you have had time to hit the market with a more off-road color scheme than the XTRM 2, and perhaps a few millimeters at the top with a wider midsole. I recommend.

Excellent feel and stable walking in the terrain. Light. Good grip, except in cold weather on wet hard surfaces, the grip thins clearly. The materials last very well, many times longer than even the Salomon Speedcrosses, which I have two. In these VJs, the fabrics last flawlessly as long as the pattern on the base. When my first VJ XTRM pair started to wear pretty smooth on the bottom, I bought others similar. I didn’t even consider other models or brands. Now I run the old ones all the way to the end, while the new ones are running in alongside.
In both pairs, the lower end of the recording got a little new from the big toe joint of the left foot, but it ends with a small run-in when the shoe and foam midsole get little use (I used tape at first, and shorter loops in the run-in). The toe space of the shoes becomes a little more spacious with use.
The bottom RockPlate works just fine. The sole can be quite thin and responsive, but even the sharper stones have not pushed through badly, as has been the case with some shoes. In addition, RockPlate is practically not noticed when running in any way, i.e. in a negative sense.
There is little occurrence of insole twisting with a wet shoe and sock (more twists in Solomons).

Good feel to the surface with moist paths and rhizomes. Light on foot, good to run even on dirt roads and asphalt for short distances. Slightly hard material, in the beginning may easily become abrasions. In frosty conditions, the soles harden and the shoe becomes surprisingly slippery.
Really well-functioning rock plate, protects but still the base rolls well. Grip is excellent on wet cliffs. I recommend, but worth fitting the tip a little narrower, I took one size larger than normal it was still good; the swimrun race stayed brilliantly on foot because the recording and structure was orienteering. Intended for use on longer distances in swimrun and trail running.
