I have already walked hundreds of kilometers in these. I got three pairs. You can go alone in midi-strap membrane shoes. With these, I have completely stopped using double socks. Not a single blister. Alpina Tundra / Alpina Trapper as shoes.

Technical sock, essential for long walks both on days with mild temperatures and on colder days. Warm, comfortable and with good breathability, all that is needed in a good sock.

Quality socks, and made for hard use. I've used Bridgedale's midweight and chunky socks for years in all seasons in a variety of shoes, and they work just as well on long hikes as they do on runs. If the size is chosen correctly and they are snug enough when wearing them, it's really hard to get any chafing on your feet, let alone blisters, even on long trips. The material is really durable, but it doesn't feel hard, and it doesn't stretch even when wet. The flexibility has not changed even after years of use. Every now and then I've tried some other brands, but I've come back to Bridgedale.

I think it's just a normal sock. Does not reduce blister formation in any way (marketed somewhere that no blisters would come with Coolmax Liner). Sweating in summer, in winter I have not yet had time to keep.
