60 km for a backpacking trip to Kevo right out of the box! A little excited about how it works but no blisters. The surface leather remained good and clean even though I didn't do any maintenance on the 4-day trip. (of course I looked if necessary) just flushed the dust off at the crossings. Strong recommendation. Good to wear and supports suitably ankles

Caminos are at their best when the trip requires carrying a heavier backpack and when the terrain is difficult, such as a rock. Factory impregnants keep external moisture away, so I wouldn’t handle shoes for the first trip. The shoes can be easily tied due to the bearings - only a brisk pull of the strings tightens the toe of the shoe comfortably evenly.
In my opinion, caminos are not suitable for those looking for a flexible step, or for those looking for a small daypack, because the right features of the shoes do not come out this way. The ankle rests well and you will definitely not be able to spin if you tie the shoes well. Because the shoe is -really rigid, you should be prepared for the uphill to activate a whole new musculature.
For me, these shoes replaced the credit companions on long fishing trips.

Like all Lowa footwear these boots are extremely comfortable and if these are as durable as previous Lowa boots I've owned, I shall be completely satisfied with the purchase.

High-quality shoes for demanding terrain. If you are looking for outdoor shoes for hiking trails in Southern Finland, these are not for you. These are at their best in awkward, rocky terrain. Unfortunately, at the same time, it means that in lighter terrain, these are not at their best. The shoes are sturdy and heavy and don’t roll from the sole at all. This is an advantage in difficult terrain, but on light hikes they feel almost like downhill skiing. If not directly in perfect shape, be prepared for a somewhat longer run-in than with lighter shoes.

The lowa Camino GTX is one of the best heavy pack hiking boots I've ever owned and I've owned many. They deliver amazing comfort right out of the box, heaps of ankle stability support and a rugged build to last many many trails.

This is the second pair of Lowa brand boots I have purchased on line from Varuste this year. Delivery all the way from Helsinki to Australia is unbelievably fast. And the Caminos? What can I say: true to size fit, comfort straight out of the box just like my Renegades but its immediately obvious that the Camino is a stouter boot built for tougher terrain where you need a stiffer 'last' to help keep your balance and enjoy greater protection from jagged rocks and uneven terrain. The warranty that comes with these boots is mind blowing - 10 years!

Fantastic boots! Other brands rub on my heel and give me blisters. After a very short wearing in period these were good to go on the hill. Will definitely be buying again. Varuste were excellent to deal with. They answered all of my questions and sent the boots incredibly promptly. Thank you.
What is the width of the boot please
